Vreemd hoor, een ochtendwandeling zonder Barkley, die zit al lekker in Frankrijk...nog eventjes en dan ga ik ook.....

Ochtendwandeling,,,,,, om toch wat stappen te maken..... anders kom ik niet ver op zo'n dag...

Het had vanncht blijkbaar geregend en nog steeds kwamen de druppels zachtjes naar beneden...maar toch naar buiten.... het was net licht en wat heiig maar totaal niet koud en eigenlijk was het heerlijk lopen... alleen mijn schoenen waren na twee passen in het hoge gras al doorweekt..... daar moeten toch maar eens een paar mooie wandelschoenen voor in de plaats komen...

Het was stil buiten...heel zachtjes hoorde je wat verkeer zo nu en dan en verder waren het alleen de vogeltjes die er op los kwetterden. Langs de berm het gele raapzaad en eindelijk komt nu ook het Fluitekruid los, dat is laat dit jaar.... er zijn jaren geweest dat het rond mijn verjaardag al bijna op zijn eind liep, nu moet het eigenlijk nog beginnen met bloeien..... Onderweg ving ik flarden van heerlijke geuren op... ik denk de meidoorn die ook begint te bloeien. Helaas geen reeen onderweg gezien, die zaten vast lekker in het bos.

En ook al zien de foto's er misschien wat grijs uit... het was prachtig buiten.......

Strange, really, a morning walk without Barkley; he's already comfortably in France... just a little while longer and then I'll be off too... Morning walk... just to get some steps in... otherwise I won't get very far on a day like this... Apparently it had rained last night and the drops were still coming down softly... but out I went anyway... it was just getting light and a bit hazy but not cold at all, and actually it was lovely walking... only my shoes were soaked after just two steps in the tall grass... I really need to replace them with a nice pair of walking shoes... It was quiet outside... you could hear some traffic very softly every now and then, and otherwise it was just the birds chirping away. Along the roadside was the yellow rapeseed, and finally the Cow Parsley is starting to come out now too; that is late this year... there have been years when it was almost winding down around my birthday, now it actually still has to start blooming... Along the way, I caught snippets of wonderful scents... I think it was the hawthorn, which is also starting to bloom. Unfortunately, didn't see any deer along the way; they were probably enjoying themselves in the woods. And even though the photos might look a bit grey... it was beautiful outside.......
